We’re proud to be the only large fishing charter to be operating half day, full day or private fishing trips out of Beachlands or Kawakawa Bay, East Auckland. That means you don’t need to drive all the way down to the Coromandel and miss out on fishing time! You’ll be travelling in style on the iconic Grunty One, an aluminium catamaran customised to allow for a spacious and comfortable day out on the water.
Don’t have your own rod? No problem! We’ve got plenty onboard for you to use, all included in the cost. Simply choose what you need and drop a line in the water.
We have the right bait for the target species all included. Our friendly deck hands are there to help you retrieve your fish and rebait quickly.
We want to make sure there’s plenty of fish around for years to come. All fish are measured and we stick to the catch limits.
Our skipper and crew are all experienced and will get you to the spot safely and efficiently on our awesome vessel, Grunty One.

What an epic day out. We went out as a family group of 10 ranging in age from 6 – 70.
Everything was incredibly well run. Kylee who took our booking has exceptional communication….and extremely friendly. Joel one of the crew was such a good time ….many laughs had. Brad. What a great owner. Huge knowledge.. always happy to help bait the rods, and take the fish off the line for the beginners in our group.
Excellent quality gear. Extremely generous with bait. We caught HUGE amounts of snapper. We had soo much fun. Best day out on the water.
